Reflections of a Town |
Reflections of a Town Train Mural, Plant City, Florida, 23 ft. x 78 ft. This was a project done under a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship and State of Florida Artist-in-the-Schools Program. It was to commemorate Michigan's Art Train, which visited Plant City and spurred interest in an artist in residency program. This downtown mural was the only part of a building left standing after a fire in early 2000. However, in February,2008, it was destroyed to make way for a parking lot. Henry Moody Mural, Plant City. This mural was destroyed in the 1990's.
Oklawaha River Mural, Ocala, Florida, 30 ft. x 36 ft. This mural was completed under an artist-in-residency program at Central Florida Community College and the Appleton Museum of Art, in Ocala. Students at the college helped pant it.
Both Bradenton murals, also completed under an Artist-in-Residence program, have been destroyed. Details |
